Dialogue
Dialogue is a circular textile art diptych created from reclaimed materials: wood, textile, leather, silk, linen and paper.
Each panel measures 70 x 70 cm and includes old picture frames, fabrics from sample books, wallpaper and silk offcuts from lampshade workshops.
All materials are reassembled and layered into two mirrored structures that balance texture, tone and tactility.
We live in turbulent times when listening to one another has become a rare art. Yet dialogue remains essential: between a man and a woman, between children and their parents, among members of a community, and between nations and their leaders.
Only through genuine conversation can we nurture understanding, prosperity and collective well-being.
This work reflects that principle materially: two panels in quiet conversation, each built from distinct fragments yet forming one shared composition.
Dialogue is part of the Constructed Presence series circular textile art that explores geometry, material reuse and human connection.
Each work transforms discarded materials into tactile structures for contemporary interiors.
